Privacy Policy for RTScape

At RTScape, operated by AnnyuTech ("we," "us," or "our"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the data of our business users. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle the information captured and transmitted by our mobile application.
1. Data Collection and Usage
RTScape is a professional business tool. We do not require account creation, and we do not collect or store your personal identity information (such as name or email) on our own persistent servers.
A. Sensitive Media & Capture (Streaming)
The core functionality of RTScape involves capturing and transmitting live media.
- Camera & Microphone: Used to capture live video and audio.
- ScreenCast: Used to capture live video.
- Handling: This data is processed ephemerally in your device’s memory to facilitate a live stream. We do not store these recordings on AnnyuTech servers. The video/audio only streams to the media server the user has allocated for their own internal use.
B. Geolocation Data
- Precise Location: The app accesses your device's precise GPS coordinates.
- Purpose: This data is transmitted to the remote media server the user allocated for internal use to provide location-context (Geolocation Services) for your business.
C. Storage
The app requires storage access to save local configuration files or export recorded media directly to your device.
2. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not "sell" your personal information. However, the app transmits data to the following destinations:
- Remote Media Server: Your media streams (Video/Audio/Screen) and GPS data are sent to a remote server address. This server is typically managed by your organization or a third-party service provider of your choice. AnnyuTech does not control how data is managed once it reaches this destination.
- Google Play Services: Used for basic app stability and core Android functionality.
3. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data during transmission:
- Encryption in Transit: All streams and location data are sent via secure protocols (e.g., HTTPS, RTMPS, or SRT with encryption) to ensure they cannot be intercepted by unauthorized parties.
- No Persistent Storage: Because we do not store your data on our servers, there is no central database at risk of a breach.
4. International Privacy Disclosures
GDPR (EEA Users)
For users in the European Economic Area, the legal basis for processing your data is Contractual Necessity (to provide the streaming service you initiated) and Consent (via system permissions). You have the right to stop all data processing by ending the stream and revoking permissions in your device settings.
CCPA/CPRA & CalOPPA (California Users)
- Right to Know: You have the right to know that we transmit Video, Audio, Screen, and Precise Location data.
- Do Not Track (DNT): We do not track your activity across third-party websites.
- Shine the Light: We do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
5. Children’s Privacy
RTScape is a business application and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or transmit data from children.
6. Policy Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our app or legal requirements. Significant changes will be notified via an in-app alert or by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
